WE BELIEVE:
1. There is only one true God who lives eternally and is in 3 persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit.
2. The love, grace and sovereignty of God who created, sustains, rules, redeems and judges the world.
3. The bible, both the Old and New Testament is the divinely inspired Word of God. As a result, it is the basis on which our faith and conduct are built.
4. Each person has been created in the image of God. However, sin has corrupted us. As a result, each one of us is a sinner.
5. The penalty of sin according to scripture is death
6. That God loves us with the most indescribable love and because of this has made a way to redeem us.
WE BELIEVE:
7. In the incarnation of God’s eternal son, Jesus Christ. That He was born of the virgin Mary, fully God yet fully human and without sin.
8. That Jesus died on the cross, in our place and paid the full price of sin. As a result, He defeated satan and reconciled us with God.
9. That Jesus rose again on the 3rd day and ascended to the Father and that He is the Saviour of the world.
10. That justification and salvation come only by the grace of God when we put our faith in Christ.
11. That the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within us when we receive Jesus by faith. He empowers us to spread the gospel and reach others for Christ.
12. That we are part of the body of Christ now which is made up of believers all around the world.
13. That we are awaiting the rapture and second coming of Christ as believers. That there will be a judgement of all people. That eternal life will be given to those who are redeemed, who have received Jesus and His forgiveness of sin by faith. And there will be condemnation for those who have rejected Jesus. And ultimately there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth.
